While the intermission probably has extended beyond what I'm legitimately able to call 'brief,' I think that the dust around our house has finally settled to the point that I'm able to get back into hobbying with some semblance of regularity.
There will still be interruptions here and there for house projects and honey-do lists and such, but I think that, with a bit of luck, we can now officially return to our regularly scheduled programming ...
